you won’t want to meet these plants!

“Behold! the latest scientific breakthrough. these plants have been found in smolsax. but most of the discoverers didn’t make it out alive, hahahahaha. that was a joke… I think.” We were tasked by our amazing teacher Miss Gavin to make plants that are rather scary, one that traps you, and one that poisons you. my slide has two, one’s name is pea-ple and the other is carrot thrower. all the info on the plants are in the DLO. the most fun part about making it was making the design for these monsterus specimen. now I know how to use creativity even when there are rules.

my wonderful book cover

It’s book week! so we had to dress up as someone from a book. I was “that one snail that Andy stepped on and had to fix it with bark and gum” *pant* *pant* *pant* that’s a breather.

Anyway,  my wonderful teachers, Miss Gavin and Miss Wilkinson had us make our own book covers of the book our characters are from but we had to put ourselves into it using background remover.

Now I know how to turn pictures in to PNGs.

Take a look! 🙂

my amazing word art

We had to write our name using word art to make something cool. I made mine where you can make my name fall into the abyss. I can now use word art when I want to put an outline around my words. What do you think?

this is Western winds

I have been really enjoying learning in the past few weeks, because we have been learning about what is needed to make a city.  Like police, schools, hospitals, and roads, and we even made our own cities. My city is called Western Winds because it’s based in the desert part of NZ and has many wild west themes.
